Patty "In early September of 2003, my grandmother passed away at the age of 91. She and my mother had a very close relationship and my mother and father, who retired to Florida, were back up north for about a month. My parents kept getting reports from the assisted living facility where my grandmother resided that my grandmother's health was failing. In the end, my grandmother just wanted to go. She would tell the nurses she wanted to go and asked them what was taking so long. The nurses at the home said people who were dieing didn't want their loved ones to see them in that condition but I flew down to see her one last time. How could I not? She had been so good to me and my sister and my kids and I have such fond memories of her. I had the "Let Go" stone and put it in her hand and whispered to her what it was and that it was time for her to stop fighting. I sang to her like I sing to my kids everynight. About 10 minutes later, she opened her eyes, which she hadn't done in a week, thanked me and smiled and then she let go and was gone. I truly believe I eased her last moments of life."

Donna "I am the friend Lianne was referring to in her story. My Nolan was born 9/4/02...healthy but with some fluid in his lungs. Again I carried my believe stone everywhere and he came home 10 days later with a clean bill of health. Last weekend (Valentine's Day) Nolan developed a 106 fever. We were told in the ER that he needed to be admitted. My husband went home to get me clothes and Nolan's formula. As I sat worried it hit me that I didn't have my stone. I called my husband on his cell phone and he brought it back to the hospital. People say it's silly but that believe stone gives me such a feeling of calm. Nolan came home 5 days later...healthy and giggling."

Lianne "One of my close friends wanted another baby. Her daughter was 3 and they thought it would be a good time. She became pregnant with twins and miscarried at 10 weeks. She felt like this was just a fluke and tried again. Once again she miscarried. When she told me she was pregnant once again, I bought her the "Believe" stone. Everything was going smoothly until her fifth month when her Dr. told her the baby had a cyst on his brain and was "incompatible with life." Needless to say she was devasted! I told her I wouldn't give up hope and we prayed for a miracle... 6 days later we got one. The Doctors now feel that this baby will be born healthy. I asked her if she had the stone with her when the Doctors gave her the good news and she said "of course, I never go anywhere without it! Baby Nolan is due in September, and we can't wait to meet him!"

Jan "I am a high school basketball coach in Cincinnati, OH. I purchased a stone for each of the seniors on our team about 5 years ago. I buy the senior a word that reflects her personality. Each of the other players then write a paragraph or two about the senior and why that personality trait made a difference in our team and in their life. Anita "This year has been a year I don't wish myself or even my worst enemy to repeat. Stephen my youngest son had to had surgery in March for a condition called Arnold Chiari Malformation, he had decompression surgery to take the preasure off of is brain stem, at the same time my eldest son decided to move to Maryland for a good job oppotunity. On his leaving home I managed to get my middle son to come back home having left us the previous December. He wasn't able to manage on his own and it scared me that he would end up on the street's. After Stephen recovered from his surgery at a great rate it was my turn to have neck surgery which was from the result of a car accident last year. This surgery was in July, after that everything was going very well.

Marc my son living in Maryland was coming home for a long weekend, he would have been home on September 28. He telephoned everybody he knew and made arrangements to go out at the weekend. He told me what he wanted me to cook for Sunday dinner as a few of his friends were joining us, all the arrangements were made including taking his father out for a birthday drink with his friends. Wednesday morning, 26 September two Police cars pulled up on our driveway. Our first thought's were Jeff our middle son was in trouble, but no, Marc had taken his own life earlier that morning,

That week is a blur to me, the arrangement had to be made to fly him back the funeral had to be arranged, I was not coping. The day of the viewing at the funeral home was a hard day, to stand and look at my baby (21) and know that I would never see him in this life. I would never get the joy of holding his babies was too much to bear. A good friend of mine gave me a rock with the words COURAGE printed on it. I held that rock so tight all through the day into the next day at the Funeral. That rock gave me the courage to get through this,

I still carry that rock with me, as I am nowhere near over this and I don't see that in the future I will ever get over this but at my worst times I take my rock in my hand and just hold it. My friend knew what she had in this rock. It was given to her when her son died 2 years ago in a tragic accident. One day I may be able to give this courage to someone else who needs it. Who would of thought that a small rock inscribed with courage could help. I totally believe in my little rock. It is my rock of salvation."

Michelle "I purchased the I Love You stone and gave it to my boyfriend. One week later he proposed......and said yes.
Thank YOU my dreams have now been answered!!!!"

Rachel "I recently purchased the Kindness Stone for my 5-year old son. He took the stone to school one day for show and tell and his teacher asked him what kindness means to him. He explained to the class and his teacher that he helped serve Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless at his Aunt's church and he felt that this is what kindness is. I am so proud of him for wanting to help others and can see that the stone has inspired him to do kindness unto others. "

Jenna "My close friend passed away awhile ago.  She was said to be an angel in heaven.  I saw the Magic Stones and fell in love with them and bought the angel one to put at her gravesight not far after she had passed away.  After I felt as if she's been looking over me ever since because she truly is an angel in heaven." 

Elyse  "I have had had many miscarriages, and we were going to give it one more try to have a baby.  We were in a store in Mystic and found a baby magic stone.  My husband bought it for me and from then on I kept it with me all the time.  I became pregnant with in 2 months.  I took it to every doctors appointment, and even made the doctor rub it for luck. At 20 weeks I was put into the hospital on bed rest.  There was a chance I had an infection, and yet maybe another miscarriage.  I went into labor at 24 weeks and delivered a baby girl 1 lb. 8 oz.  They did not give us much hope.  Still keeping my baby stone with me at all times, I would take it with me to visit her everyday.   On April 19, 2000 we brought my daughter home with a clean bill of health.  I keep my magic stone on my dresser now, and kiss it every morning to thank it for the gift and the strength it gave during such a difficult time."

Dar  "I used Magic Stones as an alternative, and positive, disciplinary approach with my teenaged daughter. During difficult times, I matched a magic stone which would "oppose" whatever was happening.  for example, after an untruth was discovered, I gave her "Trust," to show her that it is important for us to be able to trust her.   Now, it's a "thing" between us and marks important times."
